The 2026 TWU Teaching Summit, “Future in Mind: Designing Learning for What’s Next,” will be held on October 2nd from 9am to 2pm. All full-time and part-time faculty and graduate teaching assistants are invited to join us for a day of learning, sharing, and conversation about the future of teaching and learning.

The Teaching Summit is designed to spark new ideas and meaningful conversations about how we prepare students for an increasingly complex and rapidly changing world. Participants will engage with colleagues through faculty-led concurrent sessions and workshops exploring critical thinking, artificial intelligence in the classroom, and other innovative teaching practices.

The summit will be held in the MCL Auditorium and classrooms, with sessions also streamed to the Dallas and Houston Centers. Lunch is included.
