About this Event
As apart of the 2026 October Accessibility Lunch & Learn Series
Learn how the TWU Libraries can partner with faculty to locate, select, and provide more accessible instructional materials.
Library representatives will discuss topics such as:
- Finding more accessible alternatives to course readings and resources.
- Linking to Library resources and databases rather than uploading PDFs directly into Canvas.
- Accessibility features available within Library databases and digital resources.
- Accessibility considerations when selecting articles, ebooks, streaming media, and other course content.
- Working with subject librarians when developing or updating a course.
- Options when a resource faculty want students to use is not accessible.
- Library accessibility services, resources, and initiatives available to faculty.
Faculty will also have an opportunity to ask questions and learn who to contact when they need assistance finding an accessible resource or alternative.
