DESCRIPTION:On this Outdoor Adventure wellness program\, students will lear
 n about and experience the wellness benefits of interacting with horses. P
 articipants will first learn basic safety information about how to engage 
 with a horse so as to minimize stress for the animal and to reduce risk to
  themselves. Students will have the opportunity to engage in activities in
 cluding petting\, brushing\, and spending time with a horse. No previous e
 xperience with horses is required. We anticipate leaving the Fitness & Rec
 reation Center on the Denton Campus at 12:30 pm and should return around 2
 :00 pm. Transportation will be provided.
