PDFs remain one of the most common file types shared with students, yet they are often the least accessible. In this workshop, faculty will learn best practices for creating accessible PDFs by starting with accessible source documents. The session covers common accessibility issues, proper document structure, tagged PDFs, alternative text, reading order, and strategies for using Word and Ally to evaluate and improve PDF accessibility.
