Featuring the Social Engagement and Civics Agency throughout Texas’ Women’s Clubs

Women’s organizations have a long history of effecting positive change in Texas communities. Did you know Texas Woman’s University serves as the state archive for some of the country’s largest women’s organizations, including: Texas Federation of Women’s Clubs, Texas State Chapter of PEO, Delta Kappa Gamma’s Alpha Chapter, and the American Association of University Women. With records, documents, scrapbooks, ephemera, artwork, and artifacts at both the state and chapter levels, these collections tell the story of women committed to education, preservation of historical buildings, libraries, and so much more.
