Texas Woman’s University History

The University Archives features records dating back to the late 1800s when the Girls Industrial College, now Texas Woman’s University, was merely a topic of conversation across the state. The University Archives features collections of departments, faculty, student organizations, presidents, curriculum, and campus life. Documents, records, and printed materials of all types can be found among the millions of items collected. Today, the University Archives continues to collect about the Denton campus and Denton County, and has expanded to include the Dallas and Houston campuses and their local communities.
