In this workshop you will learn how and why we keep falling for Misinformation. We will begin with a short discussion of the factors that lead to falling for misinformation. Then we will look critically at an infamous historical example of how misinformation led to a nationwide panic. Finally, we will look at how you can engage critical thinking skills to stop the spread of Misinformation and how critical thinking skills stopped the panic in our historical example.
