*Resilience in Action: Turning Setbacks Into Strength*

Join us for the first WomenRISE Workshop in 2026: Welcome the new year by learning about Kelli Mumphrey, founder of MilkSpace®, and the role resilience has played in her entrepreneurship journey.

This workshop captures how resilience fuels sustainable growth for entrepreneurs, especially during uncertain or transitional seasons. Drawing from her entrepreneurial journey as a veteran, mother, and founder of MilkSpace®, Kelli will share how setbacks can become setups for stronger strategies and how to balance patience with momentum.

Speaker Bio

Kelli Mumphrey is a U.S. Navy veteran, wife, mother, and resilient entrepreneur whose journey embodies perseverance and purpose. Newly courthouse-married, she and her husband drove 24 hours from Virginia to Texas in a packed 2013 Chevy Equinox with a baby under one, only to have his job rescinded upon arrival. Starting at the bottom, they rebuilt their lives from scratch while Kelli held multiple federal positions and pursued entrepreneurship. In 2018, she founded MilkSpace®, born from her own frustration with the lack of adequate lactation spaces in public, starting with a $100 pink pop-up canopy tent. Despite COVID-19 halting her business development, Kelli has won multiple pitch competitions and grants, proving that even after countless no’s, she continues to move forward with purpose and resilience.
